Essential Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Work with business and functional teams to gather requirements, design quality solutions, and
create development specifications
- Development of ABAP code in our highly customized SAP system
- Strong problem solving skills, should be able to research and understand an undocumented set
up and application
- Testing and performance tuning of developed code
- Provide on-going support of existing ABAP Developments
- Manage multiple and competing priorities
- Provide leadership and mentoring to less experienced developers
- Provide realistic development estimates
- Clearly communicate project expectations and solutions to team members and business users
- Must be willing to work in a team environment
Required Skills:
- 0 to 1 year of ABAP programming experience (FICO/SD/WM/PP/MM experience preferred) or
equivalent system development experience.
- Strong business knowledge in Media or experience in IS Media.
- Proven experience in designing custom, end-user solutions
- Development experience with dialog/module pool programming
- Business Analyst skills and experience with business systems a plus
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to communicate with effectively and professionally with internal and external clients
- Good team player
- Excellent organizational skills
Preferred Skills:
- Past experience in highly customized SAP Environment
- Good database knowledge
Education:
- 4 year college degree or 2 year technical degree with equivalent experience
